Tom Taylor, renowned hat wearer, has also worked as a street performer, playwright (his plays have been produced at the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Arts Center and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival among others) and juggler extraordinaire. It’s also fair to say that recently he’s been working on a few comics. All-New Wolverine, Superior Iron Man, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Star Wars: Invasion, and Batman/Superman to name just a few…
He’s also working on the excellent The Deep animated series. You could say that Tom is prolific.
You may be familiar with The Deep, his creator owned comic (with James Brouwer) which has been adapted to an animated television series airing the world over in 2016. This wasn’t his first outing with Gestalt Comics however; his first published comic was adapted from his stageplay – The Example, with illustrations from the legendary Colin Wilson.
